Hampstead Heath - transientlife

Hampstead Heath is the jewel in the crown of northwest London. Its almost 800 acres of heathland, which when you’re roaming around between Kenwood and Parliament Hill, as me and my son Jonah often do, it’s possible to believe that you’re on virgin lands untouched since its record in the Domesday Book. Of course, it is a highly managed environment, but one that provides all Londoners with some much needed air and space. London is a remarkable city for enabling this amount of land so close to its centre to provide this brilliant asset, looking great at this time of year.
